Moon over Mudflats

To all my mudpuppy friends, here is a view of moonrise over Anchorage. I have been enjoying the beautiful moon the last few evenings and had the opportunity to take these pictures to share with you. The first one shows the romance of the moon as it arises over the Alaska Range to the east of our city. The second one places the view in the context of the city. Right over the peak of Mt. Wolverine! That’s my favorite peak in the Chugach.
