Oh please do send some of your stuff Paula. I (and my younger boy) loved the “This and That” very much, for example. Share it!

I think that mushroom could be an alien space ship. It looks enormous. Wonder which planet it´s from….

I have no idea whether this was edible or not- didn’t want to try it! It was probably about 6-8 inches across and the most beautiful shades of orange and red. The colors remind me of a tequila sunrise when you first mix it together.

I sent in a 5 faves submission a while ago. Also, you haven’t posted the rest of the I heart mudflats pictures.

Womanwithsardinecan if we haven’t posted it, you may need to resend it, we lost some of our submissions to the archive, when gmail decided to match random peoples emails together and archive them all instead of just the one meant to be archived. We have recovered some of them and others have never been found.

Erin, very cool Alice in Wonderland mushroom.

My ducks got into a stand of young Amanitas many years ago. Fortunately none of them died, but several were out cold for a while, and one was quite messed up for a good 24 hrs, and required a bit of veterinary care. I don’t understand why it wasn’t fatal, except that maybe ducks aren’t as susceptible, or that this individual stand was less toxic than others. They do vary quite a bit, both by species and by variant!

Don’t let anyone tell you animals will know by instinct what plants are poisonous!
