I went with my father who was meeting his sister for the first time in something like 60 years. But it was the first time that I had spent 3 weeks alone with him. He died 3 yrs ago, but I still have that wonderful memory of those three weeks. So Letters from Europe and your Dad....enjoy this time. It reminded me of when I first visited America.
