Brian on Vacation?
Pat, Washington state sent this in.
When Brian seemed to be missing from The Mudflats, we found him on holiday in Disneyland! Hubby and I were in Disneyland at the end of April and Brian was there – in several places. This one is in front of Small World, but we also found him in the Rivers of America, while we waited to watch the Mark Twain river boat from Tom Sawyer’s Island. It was quite entertaining to look for him, and even more entertaining that hubby was looking as well, considering that he’s never visited The Mudflats and sometimes rolls his eyes at me because I keep sharing all the political news from Alaska. (He prefers to think that SP will go away if we all just ignore her.) Anyway, it was nice to see Brian enjoying the sunshine in Disneyland.

In the Rivers of America, he was standing in the water – I nearly missed seeing him. He looked pretty cool, actually.

Love it! Wonder what inspired the Disney moose. Maybe we should be expecting an Alaska-based animated film next?

Yes. I must say whenever I see a moose I immediately think “Brian!”
Kinda like all squirrels are named Petey. Even the girl squirrels. I have this on the utmost authority. My Mother. (BTW have you noticed that all squirrels have arthritis?)
Thanks to Life’s a Feast and her featured Moose cookies I now have my very own Brian to cut out lovely tributes in cookie dough. I can’t wait to make a butterzueg Brian.
(And I saw Brian in eBay recently too….a handmade glass bead.)

Did you know that Maine used to have this group called SMOOSA? It was formed back in the 80′s when they started allowing the hunting of moose in Maine.
Save Maine’s Only Official State Animal.
I got one of the 1000 lottery hunting permits one year… and stayed home.
