A Happy Wednesday!
Fresh from the email inbox – a new 5 faves from RunninL8 which will brighten your Wednesday.
Apologies for the first link which does have the F word in the link itself. I know a lot of people love the site so I thought rather than not post it at all I would put this warning.
I have put stars instead of the word but the link does work so if you hover or click you will see the word.
5. **** you penguin
I worship..I GENUFLECT and kiss the ring of anyone who can summon a satisfying crescendo of hardcore belly seizing laughter-complete with eye puffing tears-from the bowels of my ennui. Heck, even a hearty chortle will do!
I thank you, F U, Penguin, for the daily dose of uproarious vitriol disgorged upon some adorable, usually fluffy, animal. Fun for you AND the kids! Each morning my 4 year old sits on my lap to see the day’s new endearing critter. She’s like “aaawwwww!!! So CUTE!” as I employ my Kegel exercises trying not to pee-pee in my “blogging” pajamas. PG-13
4. Homemade Hilarity
And I thank YOU, too, Homemade Hilarity, for another daily dose of hysterical dissing foisted upon someone’s poor, lovingly and proudly made, handcrafted nightmare. Don’t cyber-walk, cyber-RUN to this blog!!!!!!!!!!
This lady’s blog is sweet comedic relief for we/us (I never know which one is right) crafty mamas. Let’s just hope we don’t stumble upon any of OUR genius creations there! PG-13
3. Boobs, Injuries and Dr Pepper
I’ve been stopping by Boobs, Injuries and Dr Pepper for about 2 years now. Reading about this incredibly talented writer’s life is like getting kicked in the junk-and I don’t even HAVE junk….
Crystal can have you ROFLMAOing with almost every post on her daily life ,and cradling your breaking heart and trying to breath with her Crazy Chronicles posts. Go over there and give one post a try. You’ll probably be hooked. PG-13
2. Living Joyfully With What Is
On a mellower and more meaningful note, go, NOW, and read this woman’s uplifting, inspiring, and paradigm shifting blog, Living Joyfully With What Is “We all face challenges, and all of us have the capacity to embrace these challenges, to see the lessons in them, to act with love and acceptance, and to embrace our lives with joy.” Joyous Judy is an amazing and prolific writer who was diagnosed this past summer with multiple myeloma.
At first, when I heard of her blog, I thought, “RUN! it’s another scary and sad blog about cancer!”, but I braved her first post and was gripped. She experiences her illness with such bravery, open mindedness, and gratitude. Her writings of her personal experiences with the universe and all it’s synchronicity are touching me on such a deep level and I thirst for every new post. I am very grateful to Judy for her eye opening insight. I suggest starting from the beginning and working your way through enlightenment.
1. Polar Palin
And last but not least…Polar Palin-a fun ole blast ‘em up game where a cute polar bear gets to chuck dynamite at oil rigs and Sarah Palin!
Runninl8 has their own blog We’re Not That Stupid also too!

Oddly enough FU Penguin was totally accessible at work but Boobs, Injuries, and Dr. Pepper was blocked. Go figure. I’ve got a few new blogs to check out – thank you!

FUP is my daily dose of laughter. So glad to read that I’m not the only person who loves that bizarrely creative and weirdly hysterical blog.

Some good sites, that binky in the butt gave me LOL. I am, however, too stupid to play the Palin game. I have not had TV for fifteen years, and our poor kids grew up without not only cable, NBC, CBS and ABC, but without video games, too. Despite that neglect, they did become literate readers. Weird in this day and age…
