Sneak Peak - 5 Faves
We are offering mudpuppies the chance to submit their 5 favourite website links to us - these will then be posted as a post on the blog.
This is a fantastic way for us to share websites with each other and also for us to reward sites we love with a little extra mudpuppy traffic.
To start us off, I have catalogued the 5 sites most linked to in the Unofficial Moderation Chat. To be fair, several of these sites are often linked to by me, and I generally visit these sites every day. So these could also be called Snoskreds Fave Five.
5. Passive Aggressive Notes.
This site is classic - now there is a place to send photographs of all those passive aggressive notes which surround you!
4. FailBlog.
When things just don’t succeed, there is fail blog.

3. Engrish Funny.
Funny it should not be the abuses and misuses of the English langrudges, but funny it is anyway!
2. Cake Wrecks.
Who knew there was such hilarity in the world of cake decoration? I have experienced a lot of cakes in my lifetime but nothing to compare with the amazing and not-so amazing cakes found on this site. Apparently I am leading a sheltered cake existence.
1. LOLcats.
This website features cute photos of kitties “speaking” a language that has become well known on the interwebs, at least in my part of the interwebs - LOLcat. This language now has a translator on the internets too! So why speak regular when you can speak LOLcats.
For extra added hilarity, why not take your favourite Sarah Palin speech, and translate it to LOLcat to create a new hybrid - LOLcat Word Salad. Like I just did also too!

Apologies for shouting, apparently LOLcats has to be in all CAPS.
I think Sarah would have got better reviews had she gone with the LOLcat version myself, but maybe it is just me..

I recently discovered Cake Wrecks myself. SO amusing. I kind of secretly want a “Naked Mohawk Baby Carrot Jockey” cake of my very own. LOL.

The Lolcats translation of Palin was a hoot! I only found out about cake wrecks last night by clicking through someone’s blog from Gryphen’s. Someone else mentioned FUpengiun in what I was looking at last night when I was awake past 2 am (ordered decaf and got caff after dinner). Also learned about passive agressive notes from a wonkette refridgerator note. I laughed until I cried, but it was way too late to call anyone. I probably couldn’t have even said wonkette because of the laughter.
